I decided to slow it down at a few parts to make it sound like a ballade; I tried to put in some dynamics but the camera doesn’t seem to make a difference in that; I had the top board taken off of my baby grand, so there’s more sound. If you are learning piano on your own and you want a few tricks and tips about how to play the style of piano I play, these quick ones should help you out a lot. 1. Think of the piano in terms of overlaying shapes. 2. Don’t be afraid to interlace your hands. 3. Play patterns across the whole piano by playing interlacing chord shapes in adjacent octaves.
